Emulsion Polaroid Lift Workshop

I was really intrigued what this workshop was becuase I had never heard of this photographic process before. We were firstly introduced to the process and showed the technique, which was quite complex and fiddly. I then took five polaroid pictures of the outside environment, which were captured in black and white becuase these work better with the process. After this I had to cut the boarder around the polaroid picture and peal the first layer off. I put this into water so that the thin see-through layer of the image could appear. This then was paced on some watercolour paper, which created an old/Vintage effect. Overall, I really enjoyed this workshop becuase I was taught a new technique and was inspired to manipulate polaroid photographs in this way again for future projects.
