Digital workshop

We were taught a variety of photoshop techniques that we can use and develop throughout the narrative project. We learnt how to copy an object from one image and then move it to a loaction image, and create a realistic atmosphere. I enjoyed this because I learnt new skills that can help me in futher projects.

I choose to use two images from google becuase I hadnt completed my test shoot yet. However, I have used this technique with my own images.

Test Image: Here I experimented with adding a background colour, duplicating the statue and warping one of the the statues.

Found images on google: Here I added the person into the location, added the black and white effect to him and added some contrast and brightness to create a realistic scene.

Analogue Workshop

In this workshop we were able to experiment and explore different media. For example I experimented with the colour polaroid camera, which created some interesting images. I also experimented with manipulating the polaroid images by scruching it up, which created an intersting etxture underneath the image. Lastly, I printed off a film noir image and used textile medium to add colour around the image. I feel that it created a vivid focal point of the subject and conveyed a cartoon style effect.
