Photoshop experiment edits

I have explored different ways on how to edit my images to create the film noir effect. I have created the film noir effect by adding a high contrast and some more brightness. I feel like this went really well and created the correct atmosphere wanted, which is adding mystery and leaving unanswered questions. I feel that the lighting shown in some of my images links vividly to Philip Lorca because its highlighting the subject uniquely. I have also experimented with adding slight tones of colour as an over layer on some of my images, so that the viewers can identify what character is being shown. I feel like the colour images worked well because the characters can be easily identified.
