Portraiture Photography- Initial Ideas

For this portraiture project I have generated a few initial ideas as a starting point. I feel that I can deffinately expand these ideas into a strong project. My initial thoughts of what type of portraiture I would like to work with is to maybe capture a group of people taking part in an activity. I like this approach becuase you can convey a variety of different people par-taking in the same activity, which is really intriguing and hghlight differences.

Ideas: . Capturing a Amateur Dramatics Group- I would compare two portraits, one shot would be natural and the other shot would be of a character that they perform. I feel that this idea links strongly to the photographer Madeline Waller because I would be comparing two images of the same person but with two different characteristics.

. Capturing a variety of dog walkers in the same enironment. This idea links vividly to the photographer Rineke Dijkstra, who captures a variety of people dressed in their slimming costumes in a beach environment.
