I completed an assessment review where my work was looked at and was analysed. I was given feedback on what improvements I should make and how to complete these. I feel that this tutorial was useful because there are still approaches that I need to consider when expanding and developing my work.
Review notes:
.Continue to develop/explore materials and methods - to expand project units.
.Unit Critique and assessment process is clear.
.Following the creative process well - good research being evidence.
.Expand theory: Focus on this in the portrait project.
.Make sure you explore lighting in this project and evidence.
.On blog make unit 6 a separate piece.
.Working on blog, easy to navigate.
.Ensure that you record ALL tutorials and feedback on blog and respond accordingly.
.Book out lighting kit and Honeycomb.
Actions to do:
.Explore more material and methods. For example printing practice photographs and trying different techniques in printing.
.Expand theory development.
.Explore different lighting for this project e.g. lighting kit.COMPLETED
I have recently been completing my actions and have worked through developing my ideas and processes. I have expanded my theory and feel that I have learnt a variety of new ideas and views on portraiture. I also have explored two different lighting equipment pieces that I have experimented with and will develop over time. The only action that I need to consider about is exploring more printing techniques because I feel that I have not used this to showcase some of my images.
