Amateur Dramatics Photoshoot

I completed this photoshoot at an amateur dramatics class, where I took a variety of photographs of all of the actors included in the group. I chose to photograph natural portraits as well as portraits when they are performing because it will show the same people in two different lights. I feel that the performance photographs convey a range of emotions, moods and different messages into what they are performing. This could create suggestions into what they are socially like in the outside world. I directed the actors to perform a monologue but I feel that this only worked with some of the actors because when they begin to move it can create a blurry effect. I am going to do another shoot with the same group and try a different approach when getting the actors to perform. I will be photographing the actors while they create an action that represents a character, this way none of the images will be slightly blurry from movement.
