The photoshoot I did at this B&B was definately more of what I wanted to capture, the theme of Englishness. I chose to capture portraits within a B&B environment because I wanted to convey the workers and owners of that particular buisness. I enjoyed taking the portraits because I feel that it documents the people I have met when visiting the B&B's. I edited some of the portraits on Photoshop because I felt that they were very dark and needed some brightness to be added.

In my next shoot I will try adding a flash or will either place the figure closer to a window because I want natural light to create a soft atmosphere. When capturing the male owner I believe that it was in vivid focus but I think that the women's portrait was out of focus, due to the dark atmosphere. I believe that when taking these portraits I felt a lot more confident because I gained lots of knowledge from the portrait project in stage 2. This knowledge I used will hopefully expand throughout this project, so that I can try a variety of new portrait techniques in futher projects. Overall, I feel that adding brightness definately gives the image the soft and delicate feel that I wanted to create with natural light.
